Who We Are
Established (May 18, 2022), Unique Minds Changing Lives Inc. is a non-profit organization designed to change the lives of low-income families and individuals located in Sussex County DE, that have fallen into hardship, by providing different types of services to help restore, educate and stabilize them.

- Emergency Housing, Financial, Food and Clothing Assistance
- Youth Mentoring to Decrease Juvenile Crime, Alcohol, Nicotine and Drug usage
- Financial Literacy and Budgeting Classes
- Breaking the Barriers of Low Self-Esteem
- Anger Management Classes
Objectives
- To provide several types of classes to help educate individuals in order to improve knowledge and technology skills
- Clients will attend budgeting courses to increase financial literacy
- Clients will attend parenting classes to increase parenting skills
- Clients will attend credit repair workshops and home ownership seminars to become potential homeowners
- Juveniles will take advantage of many trainings on-site though our mentoring program such as: tutoring, work experience opportunities, job readiness workshops “resume building included”, anger management, low self-esteem course and access to our resource lab to study and take advantage of job seeking opportunities.
- To provide disaster relief to families that have unexpectedly fallen into hardship, in order to help restore and stabilize them.
- To offer Support Groups to help deal with surviving trauma and breaking free from the many different stages of abuse.
