Anger Management Class

Designed to teach individuals how to identify their anger and respond in a healthy way, teach individuals the safest and most effective ways to keep from having outbursts and rages, also to learn how to reduce anger with different tips, tools, and techniques that vary for each individual. Food Pantry

Established November 2022, designed to end hunger in Sussex County, by feeding individuals and families in need on a regular and emergency basis. Our feeding program is open 5 days a week on a regular to the public Monday – Friday from 10:00am – 2:30pm and weekends on an emergency basis only. Additionally, every 4th Friday of every month from 10:30am – 3:00pm, we have a Major Food Distribution, providing large quantities of food and toiletries to individuals and families in need. Unique Angels Program
(girls ages 5-12)

Established in June 2022, regardless of race, ethnicity, income level or social status, are nurtured and empowered to reach their fullest potential. It’s to allow the girls through self-assurance skills, mindfulness methods, self-finding, growth-fostering contacts and empowerment. Our core life services are the life skills, girls’ communication using dolls, prep for their future, using dolls to show leadership and to prep for future career. Sessions are held every 3rd Saturday of each month; the annual banquet is held in December which also intakes our Christmas Holiday Celebration. Clothes Pantry

Established December 2022, designed to assist individuals and families in need of clothing on an emergency basis.  Our Clothes pantry is open 5 days a week on a regular to the public Monday – Friday from 9:30am – 3pm and weekends on an emergency basis only.  Families that are in need of disaster relief and professional clothing/shoes for interview/job opportunities are urged to reach out to us for support.  For more information contact our clothes pantry directly at 302-550-7259

Older Adult Computer Class

Older Adult Computer Class – Designed to educate & increase the knowledge of seniors ages 60 & older in computer skills and technology.  This opportunity will assist the seniors with becoming computer savvy, training on how to effectively surf the web and also take advantage of so many remote opportunities available to them such: managing insurance (Medicaid & Medicare), refilling prescriptions at their local pharmacy (some pharmacy’s deliver), online visits with physicians, instant cart (to purchase groceries), ability to connect with friends and family, entertainment, etc… For more information contact our Program(s) Manager directly at 302-550-7263

Youth Mentoring & Tutoring Program

Designed to help youth as they go through challenging life transitions, including dealing with stressful changes at home or transitioning to adulthood.  Also, to improve the well-being of the child by providing a role model that can support the child emotionally and academically.  For more information contact our Program(s) Manager directly at 302-550-7263

Work Experience Training Opportunities

Breaking the Barriers of Low Self-Esteem Course

Designed to help individuals in managing self-criticism, worry, avoidant or unhelpful behaviors associated with low self-esteem.  In addition, it gives lots of activities to build confidence and replace negative thoughts.  For more information contact the Program Trainer directly at 302-550-7264

Financial Literacy, Budget Classes, & Credit Repair Worshop
